The annual meetings on Episcopal Women's history have included two conferences on Southern Episcopal women, and one on Native American women and other women in the Northwest (2000).

EWHP is also a joint sponsor with the Historical Society of the Episcopal Church and the National Episcopal Historiographers and Archivists of the Tri-history Conferences. We have been working together since 1986 planning these tri-annual conferences.   Recent tri-history conferences were in Toronto in 2001 and Chicago in 2004.  The meeting in Chicago was also a joint Anglican-Lutheran conference. The most recent conference was in Williamsburg, Virginia June 24-27, 2007 and celebrated 400 years of Episcopal History. We are now in the planning stages for a new conference in 2010 in the Raleigh-Durham area of North Carolina.

Conference Information will be available here as the conference takes shape.

Our most recent women's history conference was held in Dallas on September 22-24.  You can find pictures from the conference in our Album pages and see the program for it below:

EWHP continues recording, transcribing and editing the oral histories of dozens of women missionaries and lay workers.

A perpetual remembrance calendar has been published to commemorate twelve notable women through portraits and brief biographical sketches.

A growing archive is maintained in the national Episcopal Church Archives in Austin Texas. http://www.episcopalarchives.org/   You can read more about the EWHP collections and materials held by the archives at  http://www.episcopalarchives.org/ewhp.html
